Supreme Knight Anderson Exhorts Christendom College to Persevere in Faith and Reason

Arlington Bishop Paul S. Loverde joined 130 other friends, benefactors, faculty and staff to celebrate the Patronal Feast of Christendom College's Notre Dame Graduate School (NDGS) on March 24, 2004, at the Washington Golf and Country Club in Arlington, VA. Carl A. Anderson, Supreme Knight of the Knights of Columbus, delivered the keynote address. The Christendom Players performed Oscar Wilde’s play, An Ideal Husband at The Theatre at Washington, Virginia. Join Christendom Abroad in Ireland

Inaugurated in 1992, the Christendom College Study Abroad Program offers three weeks of intensive study during which students/travelers achieve an integrated understanding of Catholic culture in the Catholic regions of Europe. As part of the program, two courses totaling six semester hours of college credit are offered. The program begins with one week of introductory orientation lectures on the Christendom College campus at Front Royal, followed by two weeks of travel and immersion in the European Catholic culture. Kevin Fox Selected as an All-American Basketball Player

On March 3, the Crusader basketball team traveled to Auburn, ME, to compete in the Men’s Division II United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) national basketball tournament. The Crusaders were one of eight teams selected from twenty-five member schools based on season records. Prior to the start of the tournament, All-American awards were given to ten players from the twenty-five member schools. Christendom Maintenance Manager Russell Henry Retires After Nearly 20 Years

On February 27, 2004, Mr. Russell Henry retired from his position as Maintenance Manager which he has held for the past 19 years and 7 months. During lunch on February 26, the College community showed their love and respect for this hard-working man by extending him a standing ovation and presenting him with a cake made by Therese Brown, wife of Dean of Student Life Mike Brown. The faculty and staff later held a dinner in his honor.
