Students Spend Spring Break in Honduras Performing Missionary Work

Associate Dean of Student Life, Miss Tambi Spitz, and twelve students took advantage of Christendom College's Spring Break and traveled to Honduras to perform missionary work through an organization called Mission Honduras from March 6-14. Prominent Pro-Life Leader to be Honored at Graduation

Christendom College will celebrate Commencement Weekend on May 15-17, 2009, and will honor Reverend Frank Pavone, the national director of Priests for Life, and Dr. Jude Dougherty, Dean Emeritus of The Catholic University of America's School of Philosophy. Students Defend Catholic Values at U.N.

Ten Christendom College students participated in the 53rd Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) at the United Nations in New York City from March 7 to 14. Working with the Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute (C-FAM), the students spoke with delegates and participated in the commission's various meetings. Acclaimed Author Patrick Deneen to Speak at College

Author and Georgetown Associate Professor of Government Patrick J. Deneen will deliver a lecture entitled Men of Great Faith: The Democratic Vision of the Anti-Federalists at Christendom College on March 26 at 8:00 p.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Hall. The lecture is hosted by the Christendom College's Cincinnatus League, an Intercollegiate Studies Institute campus organization.
