Christendom College’s Admissions Office will host two special Senior Visit Days for prospective students this fall, the first on September 28 and the other on October 12. Each day will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 3:00 p.m.
After a welcome by the Admissions Office staff, students will be given the opportunity to attend classes, get a tour of the campus, have lunch with faculty and students, and hear from College President Dr. Timothy O’Donnell, Vice President for Academics Dr. Steven Snyder, Director of Admissions Tom McFadden, and a panel of students.
“We know that many Seniors are currently making their college decisions this semester,” says McFadden, “and there is no better way to know if Christendom is the school for them than by visiting. These special Senior Visit Days are great for those who can’t spend an extended period of time on our campus, yet want to get a good feel of our offerings.”
The Admissions Office created these special visit days in response to the Junior Visit Day it held last semester. Approximately 50 students attended that event and found it to be very informative and enjoyable. One of the highlights for the students was the opportunity they had to attend Mass with the College community and then to have an intimate luncheon with the faculty.
“Christendom’s sense of family and their care for the individual student really came out during the visit,” said Katie Shannon, who traveled from Pennsylvania to take part in last semester’s Junior Visit Day. “I am so glad that I took part in the event because I had had other ideas about what Christendom was prior to attending. Now, I am very interested in attending.”
Any high school senior interested in attending the visit day must pre-register by contacting Christendom’s Associate Director of Admissions Michael Schmitt (firstname.lastname@example.org or 800.877.5456 ext. 1293) or by filling in a Senior Visit Day Registration form.
