Author and Professor Dr. Susan Hanssen delivered a lecture entitled “Henry Adams on the Sanity or Suicide of America” to the students and faculty of Christendom College on February 27. The lecture examined the history of education in America and Henry Adam’s perception of it. Bishop Loverde and 38 Religious Help Students Discern Vocations

“The call to the priesthood and consecrated life is not about you, it’s about God and others,” Arlington Bishop Paul S. Loverde told the students of Christendom College during the college’s annual Discernment Weekend held February 24-26. “Stop and consider to what you are being called. Christendom Rugby Team Crushes American University

In its first-ever home game, the Christendom College rugby team defeated the American University Eagles by a score of 40-7 on February 25. Playing on the former Warren County Middle School football field, in frigid windy weather, the Christendom Crusaders played one of their best games ever, bringing home a win against a very seasoned and tough team. College to Host Exciting Summer Programs

This summer, Christendom College will be hosting a variety of programs for high school and graduate students, as well as for priests and religious. The college plans to hold four one-week "Experience Christendom" Summer Programs, one one-week Latin Immersion Program, two one-week basketball camps, one six-week Graduate School Residential Program, and two two-week Vita Consecrata Institute Programs. Crusader Basketball Teams Win in Tournaments

On February 18, the Lady Crusaders capped off a tough season with two big wins in the Shenandoah Chesapeake Conference Tournament to claim the Tournament Championship at Christendom College.  The men’s team placed third in their tournament hosted at Mid-Atlantic Christian University in Elizabeth City, N.C. Upcoming Spring Break Missionary Trips Attract 16% of Student Body

Sixteen percent of Christendom College’s student body will do missionary work during their spring break this year.
