Crusader Rugby Dominates George Mason University

The Christendom College Crusader Rugby team defeated the George Mason University Patriots, 26-7, on March 22.  After a nail biting 19-19 tie in their season opener against Catholic University of America, the Crusaders showed signs of improved discipline and cohesion in this second home game of the season. Christendom College Celebrates 15 Years of Student Mission Trip Programs

This spring break, a record 90 Christendom College students—25% of the Front Royal campus student body—went on mission trips. Since 1999, over 700 students, 30 faculty and staff, and 20 alumni have been sent on both domestic and international mission trips. Celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, the program sent missionaries to the Dominican Republic (D.R.), Guatemala, Peru, and New York City. Christendom College Mourns the Loss of Advisor to the Board Jeremiah Denton

Former US Senator, Navy Admiral, and POW war hero, Jeremiah Denton, died today at the age of 89. Admiral Denton was a good friend of Christendom College, serving as a member of the College's Board of Advisors for close to 15 years.  In 1998, Admiral Denton delivered Christendom's Commencement Address and received the College's Pro Deo et Patria Medal for Distinguished Service to God and Country. Bioethicist Dr. Marilyn Coors to Address Students at Christendom College

Dr. Marilyn Coors, a professor of bioethics and genetics at the University of Colorado, will deliver a talk entitled "A Catholic Approach to Topics in Bioethics Across the Life Span" to the students and faculty of Christendom College on April 7. Christendom College is ranked as one of the 20 best conservative colleges in America in a new report by TheBestSchools.org. Dr. Adam Schwartz, professor of history at Christendom College, appears in the most recent volume of Seven: An Anglo-American Literary Review, an annual journal that provides an interdisciplinary forum for discussion of the lives and works of seven specific authors, including J. Crusaders to Play George Mason in Rugby

The Christendom Crusaders will play the George Mason Patriots in rugby this upcoming Saturday, March 22. The game will be played in Front Royal at 1pm. Coming off a tie against Catholic University of America, the team is hoping to overcome the seasoned George Mason squad, whom they defeated last year 29-17.
