This week, the Christendom College community mourned the loss of Dr. William E. May. The well-known moral theologian, author, and tireless warrior in the pro-life movement died on December 13.
Dr. May was a professor at the Christendom Graduate School in addition to being the Michael J. McGinley Professor of Moral Theology at the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and the Family at the Catholic University of America. He authored many books that eloquently defended and explained Church teachings including “Catholic Sexual Ethics” and “Marriage: The Rock on Which the Family Is Built.”
May his soul, and all the souls of the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
