The Honorable John Connolly, member of the Front Royal, Va. Town Council, spoke to Christendom students on March 30, as part of the college’s politics practica speaker series. Francis Cardinal Arinze to Join Prominent Speakers at Christendom’s Summer Conference

Francis Cardinal Arinze will join other prominent speakers for Christendom College’s biennial summer conference, on Saturday, July 11, on its Front Royal, Va. campus. The one-day conference, titled “Encountering Christ: Apologetics and the New Evangelization,” will feature Cardinal Arinze, along with Marcus Grodi, Scott Hahn, Patrick Madrid, Timothy O'Donnell, Brendan McGuire, and R.J. Christendom Community Blessed with Four Priests on Campus

Christendom College has been blessed with so many wonderful priests over the years, with that tradition continuing in an expanded direction this past year. With alumnus chaplain Fr. On April 10 and 12, the Christendom College class of 2015 will present the annual Mystery Dinner Theater at the college’s St. Lawrence Commons. The Honorable Tim Taylor, Mayor of Strasburg, Virginia, spoke to Christendom students this past Monday, March 23, as part of the college’s politics practica speaker series.  A twice-elected mayor and a seven-year veteran of the Strasburg Town Council, Taylor encouraged students to become involved in local politics and public policy, and related the value of a liberal arts education in an administrative career. Alumni Join Students in Celebrating the Memory of Christendom Founder Dr. Carroll

In a joint venture organized by the alumni affairs and career development offices, the Christendom community celebrated the birthday of the college’s late founder, Dr. Warren H. Carroll, on Tuesday, March 24. Numerous students poured in and out during the evening, packing St. Kilian’s Café with over fifty students and faculty members, and over thirty alumni at any given time.
