Christendom College will award ten Master of Arts in Theological Studies degrees to this year’s graduates on Saturday, August 1.
During the ceremonies, which will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Christ the King, graduate school dean Dr. Kristin Burns will bestow the academic hood on each graduate, signifying his or her master’s degree, before the giving out of diplomas.
Christendom’s graduate program offers students a faithful, flexible, and affordable education in theology. Students can attend classes at the Alexandria, Va., campus, on the Front Royal, Va., campus, or anytime online. Each of this year’s graduates completed their master’s degrees with a concentration in a specific discipline of study, including systematic theology, consecrated life, evangelization and catechesis, and moral theology.
The ten candidates for graduation are Sr. Katia A. Chavez, SJS, Nathaniel Jacob Doerr, Anthony Andrew Fyk, Melissa Wormser Maleski, Melissa Mary Manaker, Sr. Anna Pauline Van Pham, O.P., Paul (Khoi) Pham, Gina Marie Quintiliani, Nancy R. Rowland, and Rita Catherina Vosika Sherepa.
Advanced Apostolic Catechetical Diplomas will also be awarded to Paul Pham and Rita Sherepa
