Crusaders Set for Rugby National Championship This Weekend

The Christendom Crusaders will take Christendom rugby to their biggest stage yet this coming weekend, as they play in the NSCRO 7s National Championship in Philadelphia. Christendom College theology professors Dr. R.J. Matava and Joseph Arias recently gave presentations at international conferences in Spain and Poland. Christendom College Honors Gerhard Cardinal Muller and Mary Ellen Bork at Commencement

Christendom College celebrated commencement weekend on May 12-14, awarding 110 bachelor of arts degrees and honoring the Vatican’s Prefect for the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith Gerhard Cardinal Muller and the renowned Mary Ellen Bork. Cardinal Muller celebrated the Baccalaureate Mass on Friday, received an honorary doctorate during the commencement ceremonies on Saturday, and delivered the commencement address. Alumni Priests Partner with Sony Classical to Release Chant Album

Christendom graduates Fr. Zachary Akers, FSSP, and Fr. Gerard Saguto, FSSP, along with other members of the Fraternity of St. Peter, are bringing sacred music to a new generation with the release of “REQUIEM” — an album of Gregorian chant, released through De Montfort Music and Sony Classical. The album, which was recorded at the Fraternity’s seminary in Nebraska, features music usually sung during funeral Masses, with Fr. Akers directing the music for the album.
