There’s no better time to visit Christendom than in the Fall, and prospective students will have that opportunity this coming weekend with our November 10 Open House. With chances to hear from Christendom’s staff and faculty, attend classes, tour campus, and more, first-time visiting seniors will also be able to obtain either a $500 scholarship or a $100 travel reimbursement check just for coming to campus.
The college’s open house events are hugely successful, with visitors traveling from across the country and beyond to learn more about the Christendom experience. The Open House event will begin with presentations from director of admissions Sam Phillips and vice president for enrollment Tom McFadden, as they introduce Christendom and discuss career opportunities, financial aid, and the importance of choosing a Catholic college. Students will be able to attend classes as well, getting a taste of the personalized attention that is a hallmark of a Christendom education.
Following class, students and their families will be able to attend Mass in the Chapel of Christ the King, followed by a catered lunch with current students and faculty. A campus tour will round off the day, before a final presentation on the importance of the liberal arts.
Christendom College is a very special place — a fact that is fully realized by visiting campus. For first-time visiting seniors, now is the best time to visit campus, thanks to the ongoing special travel initiative. First-time visiting high school seniors can choose between a $500 scholarshp to go toward their Christendom education or a $100 travel reimbursement check, as long as they make an official visit (Open House, Day/Night visit, or Experience Christendom Summer Program) between October 1, 2017, and March 31, 2018.
