Record Year Continues

Christendom’s December 1 Early Action Application deadline was an historic one – bringing in the most applications ever during the early application process.  The college is aiming to enroll 160 new students in the fall, for a total undergraduate enrollment of 498. This would signify a 2% increase over last year’s enrollment goal, giving the college a 28% growth in enrollment since fall 2012. Remembering Alumna Maria Halliday

Christendom College mourns the passing of alumna Maria Halliday, who attended the college from 2003-05. A teacher, realtor, and loyal friend, Halliday passed unexpectedly at the age of 32. Deacon Michael Baggot to Become 83rd Alumnus Priest

Deacon Michael Baggot (’07) will become Christendom’s 83rd alumnus priest when he is ordained in Rome by Cardinal Giuseppe Bertello, president of the Pontifical Commission for Vatican City State, on December 16. Deacon Baggot, who converted to Catholicism shortly before arriving at Christendom, first began discerning his vocation to the priesthood while in college. The 2017 hurricane season devastated parts of this country and Puerto Rico. Students Line Streets Around Abortion Clinic in Prayerful Protest

“Calvary arrives at Falls Church Abortion Center,” claimed pro-life organization 40 Days for Life earlier this month, due to the fact that over 150 Christendom College students, faculty, and staff prayerfully protested abortion at a Planned Parenthood Clinic in Falls Church, Virginia, as part of the college’s annual Mega Shield event.
