Alumni Vocations and Careers Alumni Home Page

Christendom College offers an ideal setting for the students to discern their vocation to the priesthood or religious life, married life, or the single life. No matter which career path Christendom alumni choose to follow, each of them knows that they are called "to restore all things in Christ" and to sanctify their work through prayer and sacrifice. A large percentage of Christendom alumni enter the priesthood or religious life, while others enlist in missionary activities. And not surprisingly, a large number of Christendom alumnae are doing their best "to restore all things in Christ" by being stay-at-home Moms and raising their (quite often, very large) families.

As of Octobert 2012, Christendom College has helped foster 137 religious vocations amongst its alumni ranks (65 priests, 49 sisters, 1 brother, 2 deacons, with 19 men currently in seminary). Additionally, over the past 35 years, there have been 344 alumna-to-alumnus marriages.

Christendom College Alumni are employed in almost every field possible, from Information Technology to Education, Marketing to Medicine, Law to Academia. With the liberal arts background they receive at Christendom, the alumni feel comfortable in a wide variety of fields, sometimes changing from one field to the next, over the course of their working lives.

Christendom graduates have continued their studies at such prestigious schools as Notre Dame Law School, Harvard, University of Virginia, Washington & Lee, University of Dallas, Fordham, William and Mary, Johns Hopkins, Shenandoah University, Virginia Tech, University of Miami, St. Louis University, The Catholic University of America, The Angelicum, and Oxford University. Here is a more detailed listing of the grad schools Christendom alumni have been accepted to and attended.
