Casual Students & Catechist Certification
Students who are not interested in earning a master’s degree are welcome to take courses at the Christendom Graduate School as casual students. Even students without a bachelor’s degree can audit courses. Christendom courses qualify for catechist certification in many dioceses, and for teaching licensure/certification in most states (students should check with their localities about this.)
Our signature “Teaching the Faith” courses are especially designed for catechist training and certification: they cover the entire Catechism of the Catholic Church and include how to teach the Faith to various ages. Students who successfully complete both Teaching the Faith courses (part 1 and part 2), even as audit students, qualify for catechist certification from Christendom.
