Casual Students & Catechist Certification
Students who are not interested in earning a master’s degree are welcome to take courses at the Christendom Graduate School as casual students. Even students without a bachelor’s degree can audit courses. Christendom courses qualify for catechist certification in many dioceses, and for teaching licensure/certification in most states (students should check with their localities about this.)
Our signature “Teaching the Faith” courses are especially designed for catechist training and certification: they cover the entire Catechism of the Catholic Church and include how to teach the Faith to various ages. Students who complete these courses, even as audit students, qualify for catechist certification from Christendom’s affiliate, the Catholic Education Center (www.catholiceducationcenter.com). Many students also take Christendom courses for adult Faith formation and for personal enrichment.
