Special Program for 2009-10 Academic year:

Any highschool senior or college transfer student who completes an application to Christendom this academic year is invited to make an overnight visit (whether during the week or on one of the scheduled Visit Weekends) and receive some reimbursement for travel expenses.

• Those traveling from Virginia (except from the greater Front Royal/Winchester area), Maryland, or West Virginia would receive $50 reimbursement
• Those driving from other states would receive $100 reimbursement
• Those flying in from out-of-state would receive $200 reimbursement.

Please note that this is only for those who have completed their applications (application, letters of recommendation, SAT/ACT scores, transcripts), so we encourage interested parties to apply early in order to take advantage of this offer.

The following online application allows you to complete the application form and write the three essays. However, before your application can be deemed complete, you must:

The normal $25.00 application fee is waived for any online application.

1. Have a teacher who has instructed you submit an academic letter of recommendation. Ask your parish priest (alternatively, an employer or counselor) to submit a personal letter of recommendation. You may request the recommendation forms from the Admissions Office or download them. Before downloading, be sure that Adobe Acrobat® Reader is installed on your computer. The software is available free from Adobe.

2. Send an official copy of your high school transcript (and college, if applicable) to the Director of Admissions.

3. Request that SAT or ACT scores be sent to the Director of Admissions. If forms are not available at your high school, you can request that your scores be sent to us by visiting www.collegeboard.com for the SAT or www.act.org for the ACT. The examination code numbers for Christendom College are 5691 for the SAT and 4339 for the ACT.
