P's Event
On
Sunday night, January 20, 2002, about 40 alumni came together
to enjoy each other's company at Ireland's Four Provinces
Restaurant/Pub in Falls Church, VA. Donations were excepted
at the door, which raised over $400 to go toward the Alumni
Scholarship Fund.
Some
of the "less-seen" alumni in attendance that night
were Alfonse Schaeffer, James Santschi, Anita Crane, Michele
(La Palm) Velasco, and Tom Longua. And surprisingly, Miss
Karla K. Kuykendall, who is one of the "most-seen"
alumni, was not in attendance. Joining these folks were Anastasia
"Stacie" "I can beat anyone in swimming"
Kay, Denise Belleville, Laura O'Herron, Erin Steenson, Lisa
Kirchner, Greg Rice, Alfonso Pinto, Greg Polley, Anna Wright,
Dori Rutherford, Sean and Roseanne Garvey, Sean Finnegan,
John-Paul Jansen, Mary Walsh, Josh Petersen, Emily Price,
Steven Storey, Tom and Anne Francis, Jean and Kathleen Rohan,
Margaret Luckey, Mark Calhoun, and many more.
The
next Alumni gathering will be the Summer Picnic, to be held
sometime in June.

March
for Life brings together Alumni and Students
Every
year, Christendom students and alumni join the thousands of
people at the March for Life. And after the day's marching,
many of these same students and alumni go to a nearby Irish
Pub, normally, The Irish Times in Washington, DC. It is a
great place to run into all kinds of people, and many alumni
that you don't normally see but once a year. If you've never
been to the "After March" party, you should give
it a go next year. You never know who you're gonna run into.
Plus, you can get aquainted with some of the current students.
