After
working for the Diocese of Arlington Virginia's Office of
Family Life for a few years, Mary-Rose Lombard Verret ('04)

and left her home state of Virginia and headed to the swamps
of Louisiana. In the past year she has started a new job (working
for the Diocese of Lafayette Louisiana in Family Life Ministry)
and got married. She knew Ryan was the man for her when, at
his first introduction to a Christendom St. Paddy's Day, he
announced that the next best thing to watching the Irish Dancing

needless to
say they plan to visit Christendom one March and introduce
their children to St. Paddy's Day. Ryan and Mary-Rose built
a new house and they are expecting a little girl (Zelie Anne
Verret) in January. They are planning to baptize little Zelie(named
after St. Therese's Mom) on Mardi Gras Weekend - what else
would you expect? She misses Virginia and says hello to all!
