Brittany (Smith, '05) and Josh Saibini were married on August 1, 2010 at St. Francis of Assisi RC Church in Triangle, VA. Ironically, that parish is where Christendom originally rented space before they had a campus! Josh is a teacher in Manassas, which is where the happily married couple are now living. If anyone would like to contact Brittany, she can be reached at her email address, which is: brittany.saibini@gmail.com

The Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter is pleased to announce that the Mater Dei Latin Mass Community in Dallas, TX has purchased it's own property and will soon be elevated to parish status, Fr. Thomas Longua ('92) being the first pastor. Look him up at 2030 E Hwy 356 Irving TX 75060, 214-601-8244.

Matthew Anderson and Elizabeth Fraser (both '09) are engaged! Mr. Anderson went down on one knee on November 21st, the feast of the Presentation of Our Lady. They are planning a July wedding, so please keep them in your prayers, that they will prepare well for marriage, and that they will have a beautiful (and not a sweltering) summer day for their wedding!

Michael and Heather (Wier) Hambleton ('05) received a special Christmas gift this year. Julia Kate was born on December 19th, in the middle of the record-making Washington, DC snowstorm. Julia weighed in at 7 lbs., 9 oz. Mom and baby are doing great and Audrey loves (mostly!) having a little sister and can't wait to teach her everything she knows. In other news, Heather now works as a freelance editor. If anyone has any personal or professional editing needs, she'd love to hear from you. Her Web site is www.hhedit.com.

Jason and Christen (McCaffery) Manak are still in California San Francisco Bay Area as Jason pursues his Masters in Computer Animation at the Academy of Art, while also working full time for Avanquest USA. Christen keeps busy as a stay at home Mom chasing Christopher (3 ½) Monica (2) and Matthew (6 mo). They have found/formed an awesome group of conservative young Catholic families here in the Bay Area and would welcome any other Christendom couples to join them!

Andrew and Sarah (Bruno) Currier ('07) had a daughter, Pauline Madeleine Currier, November 6th 2009 (two days before their first anniversary! They brought her home on their Anniversary and it was the best gift they could have gotten! She was 2 weeks early and weighed 5lbs 15oz. She's happy, healthy, and smiles all the time. They are both really excited to be parents!

Lucy (3 1/2) and Alexander (22 months) are excited to announce the upcoming arrival of Smith baby #3, due in early June. Prayers for a healthy pregnancy and delivery for mom and baby are appreciated! Presently Lucy and Alex keep their mommy, Molly (Becker) Smith and daddy, Justin Smith (both '03) hopping. Possessing their daddy's energy level and love of mischief, the world never even sees them coming. Luckily, they are charming and adorable, too, so the world forgives them for their gross misconduct. When not chasing toddlers, Molly is teaching two junior high history classes and doing some part-time daycare. Justin continues to enjoy his work at the lawfirm of Woods, Fuller, Shultz, and Smith, in Sioux Falls, SD. Anytime anyone is out this way, they would love to see you!

Heather (Wier) Hambleton, Elizabeth (Rice) Wallace, and Mary (Accettullo) Hambleton (all of '05) had the fun experience of being pregnant due within a month of each other. Julia Hambleton, Peter Wallace and Lilly Hambleton were all born over the Christmas/New Years Holidays within 2 weeks of each other. The Christendom Class of '32 is starting to fill up already.

A little late but better than never, 2ndLt Joseph and Jennifer (Poston) Mazzara (both '08) are happy to announce the birth of their son! Charles Vincent Capodanno Mazzara, or Vinny if you like, was born way back on October 26th, 2009, at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune. Everyone is well and happy, with Dad now serving the 10th Marine Regiment as a Fire Direction Officer. When not moving from their old house to their new house, traveling to see extended family, or trying to teach piano lessons, the Mazzaras have gotten very involved with the liturgical niceties of the traditional Latin Mass at the base Chapel. (Attention, Christendom singers! Come help Jennifer, please!!). Also, the Mazzaras are happily staying in touch with Sarah Flamminio ('08) who is doing a great job as a linguist in school for the Navy in California; 2LT Paul Provencher ('08), who is now serving the Army, getting snowed on alot, and cooking fine meals in Germany; 2ndLt Andrew Cole (09), currently in Virginia at The Basic School for Marine officers; and David Bushey ('08), also at the Navy linguistics school.

John Paul Hansen was born to Jeff and Christy (Williams) Hansen ('99) on October 4, 2009. John was born at The Midwifery Center of DePaul Hospital in Norfolk, VA. He was 20-1/2 inches and weighed 8 pounds. His godparents are Mrs. Catherine White and Dr. Alphonso Pinto. John Paul is a very cheerful boy; he likes to eat, is pious at prayer, and is already trying to crawl!

Jeremy and Mary Sheiko ('05) are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Magdalena Louise Sheiko, born Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 8:05 PM, weighing 10 pounds 4 ounces, measuring 20.9 inches long. Magda's birth weight is almost double what her big sister Colette's was! Colette, 3, is very proud and already very helpful to her mommy. The Sheiko's welcome emails at mary.sheiko@gmail.com.

Liam Nicholas O'Brien, son of Maria (Gaetano, '02) and John O'Brien ('04) was born on December 6, 2009, the feast of St. Nicholas. Maria is a full-time mom and part-time freelance writer, Jack and Megan attend John XXIII Montessori Children's Center three days a week, and Kevin keeps little Liam entertained with his antics and adventures.

Ben & Theresa (Ford) Fisher '03 welcomed their second daughter on January 12. Margaret Marianne Elizabeth ("Meg" for short) was a healthy 9lbs 11oz at birth. She's holding her own as youngest of five, and if she isn't outright adored, she's at least declared to be an "interesting addition" by her four older siblings.

After having enjoyed some a quesadilla and some tots, Father Matthew Zuberbueler ('92), recently had a lengthy chat with Pedro Sanchez from Napoleon Dynamite.

David and Elizabeth (Rice) Wallace ('05) are delighted to announce the birth of their second son, Peter Dominic, on December 23rd. They were happy to return home with their little guy as a present for his big brother, Augustine, on Christmas morning. Mom and baby are doing very well!
