Front Royal, Va: This year's East/West game was one of the most entertaining and close games the college has had since the beginning of the tradition in the 80's. Behind a strong running game and some mistakes from the West the East played right alongside the West despite being the underdogs. For the 4th year in a row, the West walked off the beaten and scarred Campion field with arms high as the victors. Led by the play of their quaterback, senior Patrick Quest and fellow senior running back Noah Morey, the west scored all 3 times in the first half. Their defense would have to win the 2nd half. Noah Morey accounted for all 3 of the West's touchdowns. Catching a couple of them out of the backfield and cruising down the sidlelines for the scores. The East was a little more balances than their red counterparts. Having had a touchdown pass for over 30 yards from their quaterback junior Thomas Francis to wide receiver freshman Chris Genn early in the 2nd quarter. Along with multiple runs from the speedy backfield of Peter McGuire and senior Bobby Lancaster, the East kept the west's defense on their heels with many different looks and runs. Despite their attempt to spoil a 4 peat by the West, the East fell short by just 4 points and prove to be ready and willing to take the reigns next year as the side of the country to be on when this game comes to town again.
