Coffee, oh coffee!
A student's best friend
Help me, oh help me
Get through to class end

Head is unsteady Behold a question
My eyes, they now droop Is put to the class
For bed I am ready No hesitation
I'm out o' the loop! I answer; I pass!

Please come to my aid! Homer and Milton
I don't want to fail; Were always a bore
My classes are paid But not anymore--
Help me to prevail! New worlds I explore!

I take a big sip-- Oh joyous good day!
Caffeine takes action I find I don't blink
I feel a strange zip Your treatment, I say
Lo! A reaction! Works quick as a wink!

I'm now wide awake! Days in the classroom
Sleepy no longer! That made me to sleep
More coffee I take Entail no more gloom
Yes! I feel stronger! For I can up-keep!
