December 1, 2002

Christendom's Study Abroad Program will be taking place during Christendom College's Spring Break in 2003: March 20-30.

The group, under the guidance of Dr. & Mrs. Timothy O’Donnell, will travel to Rome, Assisi, and Siena, ITALY.

The cost for this trip will be $1650.00 (Christendom students/faculty/staff) or $1750.00 (all others). Register by December 31, 2002.

From Washington, DC, the group will travel directly to Rome where they will stay at the Domus Mariae, Christendom College's Rome campus. While in Rome, under the expert guidance of Dr. and Mrs. Timothy O'Donnell, the group will visit the catacombs and churches; the Roman forum and ancient monuments; St. Peter's Basilica and the Papal Basilica of St. John Lateran; and museums and ancient parks. Additionally, the group will attend Pope John Paul II's Wednesday general audience and receive the papal blessing, and attend a special Mass with the entire Christendom in Rome community, celebrated by Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger.

Besides spending time in Rome, the group will travel to Assisi and Siena where, in Assisi, they will visit the Basilica of St. Francis and pray at his tomb, and also the Church of St. Clare, and in Siena, they will visit the house of St. Catherine of Siena and the main Basilica.
