Christendom Talent to Hit the Stage at Annual Spring Play

January 31, 2007

This spring the Christendom College Players will be performing You Can't Take It With You, a delightful and warm-hearted American comedy written in the 1930's.

Directed by Christendom Senior John Jalsevac, the play will feature an experienced cast who have performed in past Christendom Plays and beyond: Julian Ahlquist, Shelagh Bolger, John Connelly, Catherine Trojak, Sam Phillips, and K.C. DuFrain, among others.

The authors of You Can't Take It With You are George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart, a celebrated team of playwrights who were also famous directors (My Fair Lady in which they taught Julie Andrews how to act the role she played).

The performance will take place at the Theatre at Washington, Virginia, the weekend of March 23-25. Each night will feature a performance at 8:00 p.m., plus a matinee performance on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.

Ticket prices are $8 for adults, $5 for students, and $3 for children 12 and under.
