Christendom College will host its Annual Discernment Weekend on February 27 - March 1. The weekend will focus on priestly, religious, married, and single-life vocations.
"We're excited about the line-up of speakers that we have this year. Our students will not only hear from priests and seminarians, but married people and various religious," Student Activities Coordinator Marie Antunes said. "It is my hope and prayer that this weekend leads our students to a better understanding of what their vocation is."
The weekend will begin on Friday with a Mass at 4:45 p.m. celebrated by Arlington Diocese Director of Vocations Fr. Brian Bashista who will be accompanied by many priests of various orders from across the country. Mass will be followed by dinner and Stations of the Cross.

Following Msgr. Swetland's talk, confession will be available.
Mass will be offered at 11:15, and a luncheon will follow during which a variety of religious orders will be available for one-on-one discussion about their communities. Over 20 orders will be present, some from as far away as California.
From 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. a series of one-hour break-out-session talks will take place in the classrooms of St. Lawrence Commons. Four talks will take place simultaneously from which participants will be able to choose. Featured talks will be on marriage, priesthood, and religious life.
