Students participating in the College’s Junior Semester in Rome Program dined and met Cardinal Timothy Dolan of New York this week.  The Cardinal hosted students at his favorite restaurant in Rome where they partook in the recording of a radio program for SiriusXM’s The Catholic Channel.

The radio program, set to air Wednesday, October 17, gathered a group of students from various schools studying in Rome for a special town-hall style program. Geared to give day-to-day advice for Catholics, the students asked the Cardinal questions concerning the Faith and how to live it out in their everyday lives.

"It was great meeting and having dinner with the Cardinal," Junior Mary Fowler said. "He's such a personable, outgoing, holy person—the entire evening was entertaining, as well as spiritually beneficial. It was also great meeting with other students also studying in Rome. Catholic or not, they were all nice people who were drawn to Rome for the same reasons I was—to learn and experience. I feel so blessed to have all these opportunities."
