Students to Present Mystery Dinner Theater

On the evening of March 1 and 2, Christendom College students will present their annual Mystery Dinner Theater, with this year's being entitled, "A Slaying in the South."

According to the response from area residents, this yearly event is eagerly anticipated as the "show not to miss" due to the novel approach and humourous style of the interactive drama presentation. The mystery theater challenges the guests themselves to solve a baffling murder-mystery with the help of clues they uncover from the actual characters in the play who converse with them between acts over a delicious meal.

Directed by Christendom graduate Katy Krieger, "A Slaying in the South" features an all-star cast of Christendom students and promises to be the best yet. "We're not just going to give the audience a few laughs," says Krieger. "We're going to give them the best drama performance they've seen in a long time."

The proceeds from Christendom's Mystery Dinner Theater go toward student scholarships and student activities throughout the year. The students are hoping their venture will be successful through the generous support of local sponsor's: Fretwell's Restaurant, Fussell Florist, Rivendell Commons-Petrine Construction-PierGiorgio Café, William Powers of State Farm Insurance, and Lester's Pharmacy.
