Speaker Bios

Mary Beth Bonacci

Mary Beth Bonacci is an internationally known speaker and the founder of Real Love Incorporated. She has addressed thousands of people in Africa, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Australia, and 49 of the 50 states. She does frequent radio and TV work, and has even made several appearances on MTV. She is the author of We're On A Mission From God and Real Love, which has been translated into six languages. Mary Beth holds a bachelor's degree in organizational communication from the University of San Francisco, a master's degree in Theology of Marriage and Family from the John Paul II Institute, and an honorary Ph.D. in communications from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone

Salvatore Joseph Cordileone is the archbishop of San Francisco, California. He received his B.A. in Philosophy at the University of San Diego, and his S.T.B. in Theology and a doctorate in Canon Law from the Pontifical Gregorian University. He was ordained to the priesthood on July 9, 1982, consecrated as an auxiliary bishop for the Diocese of San Diego on August 21, 2002, and installed as archbishop on July 27, 2012. A conservative theologian, Cordileone is chairman of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops' Subcommittee for the Defense of Marriage, and serves on the episcopal advisory board of the Institute for Religious Life and St. Gianna Physician's Guild.

Dr. Scott Hahn

An exceptionally popular speaker and teacher, Dr. Scott Hahn has delivered thousands of talks and academic lectures on a wide range of topics related to Scripture, Theology and the Catholic faith. His talks have been effective in helping a multitude of Protestants and fallen-away Catholics to (re)embrace the Catholic faith. He is a regular host on the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN), and has taught at Franciscan University of Steubenville since 1990. Dr. Hahn is also the bestselling author (or editor) of over forty books, including The Lamb’s Supper, Reasons to Believe, and Rome Sweet Home (co-authored with his wife, Kimberly). Some of his newest books are The Creed, Evangelizing Catholics, Angels and Saints, and Joy to the World.

Dr. Timothy O’Donnell

Dr. Timothy T. O’Donnell is the President of Christendom College, where he also teaches courses in history and theology. O’Donnell was the first layman to receive both his licentiate and doctoral degrees in Ascetical and Mystical Theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) in Rome. He has taught at St. John’s Seminary in Camarillo, California and at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California. He is a Knight Grand Cross of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem and he is a consultor to the Pontifical Council for the Family. Additionally, he is the author of Heart of the Redeemer and Swords Around the Cross: The Nine Years War. He has filmed many programs for the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN), including Glory of the Papacy and Luke: Meek Scribe of Christ. O'Donnell and his wife, Cathy, have nine children and live in Stephens City, Virginia.

Sen. Rick Santorum

Rick Santorum rose to prominence as a U.S. congressman and senator from Pennsylvania. He was a candidate for the Republican Party presidential nomination in 2012 and 2016. A devout, practicing Catholic, Santorum is a social conservative who opposes same-sex marriage and artificial birth control. He received his undergraduate degree from Penn State University, his M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh, and his J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law. Santorum has written four books, including It Takes a Family: Conservatism and the Common Good. He and his wife Karen are the parents of seven children.

Mary Stanford

Mary Stanford earned a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Dallas, and a Master of Theological Studies degree from the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family in Washington, D.C.  She is an adjunct instructor in the Theology Department of Christendom College.  Stanford is a popular speaker at conferences and dioceses across the country on topics including marriage, contraception, sexual differences, and the theology of the body. Her work has appeared in publications such as Homiletic and Pastoral ReviewInside the Vatican, and The Theology of the Body Study Guide (published by Imago Dei, Inc.), which has been translated into many languages for study groups worldwide. She lives in Front Royal, Va., with her husband and seven children.
