President Dr. Timothy O’Donnell sent the following message to the campus community, announcing that spring semester courses will begin as scheduled on January 19 with no changes to health and safety protocols from the fall semester.

Dear Christendom students, faculty and staff,

Pax Christi! I pray that this email finds you well.

Thanks be to God, we had a blessed and successful semester, in large part thanks to your prayers and attentiveness to your health and the well-being of others. Thank you for all of the sacrifices that you made that contributed to a positive experience this semester.

I take this opportunity to announce the schedule and protocols that will be in place for next semester. Of course, Christendom will be providing in-person instruction again, thanks be to God.

  • Schedule – Beginning next semester, we will return to a more typical schedule. This means that:
    • Students will return on Sunday, January 17, and classes will begin on Tuesday, January 19.
    • We will enter the semester planning to have a spring break from March 6 to March 14.
    • Classes will end on Wednesday, May 5 and the final exam period will take place from May 7 to May 13.
    • Commencement Exercises are scheduled for May 14-15.
  • Protocols – Christendom will begin the spring semester with no changes to its health and safety protocols from the fall semester. If circumstances change, the College reserves the right to modify this plan to meet the realities facing the College and surrounding community at any given time. The College will again emphasize the importance of limiting outside exposures to the internal community within the first two weeks, with appropriate modifications toward that goal  This was an approach that was instrumental for us in the fall.

Thank you all for your hard work and perseverance over this semester. As we continue this season of Advent, please count on my prayers for you and your families. May our quiet reflections on the Holy Family’s journey toward the manger prepare our hearts for all He will ask of us in our lives both now and always.

Sincerely in the Heart of Unborn Savior,

Dr. Timothy O’Donnell
