Christendom College will welcome new faculty and staff members to the college’s undergraduate administration for the 2022-23 academic year, including twelve new staff members, three new full-time faculty members, and four new visiting professors.
In the classroom, the college’s newest full-time faculty members will include Assistant Professor of Theology Dr. Hugh O’Donnell, who taught as a visiting faculty member last year. Dr. Jakub Voboril will join the college’s Political Science and Economics Department as an Assistant Professor while Mr. Daniel Spiotta will be an Assistant Professor in the English Language and Literature Department.
Visiting faculty members this year will include Dr. Patricia Craig in the Classical and Early Christian Studies Department, Dr. Sara Pecknold in the Music Department, Miss Lisa Holdsworth in the Philosophy Department, and Dr. Aileen Foeckler in the Mathematics and Natural Science Department. In addition, Mrs. Monica Jeffery will be an adjunct in the Philosophy Department and Dr. Alka Shanahan will be an adjunct in the Mathematics and Natural Science Department.
The college’s staff will also welcome several new members this year, including Tim Cook as Dean of Students and Samuel Morales and Giulianna Hudson as Rome Residence Coordinators in the college’s Student Life Department. Catherine LaFramboise will serve as the college’s newest Admissions Counselor in the Admissions Department along with Erin Ginter as Data Entry Specialist, while Rich Hanley will serve in the newly created Director of Strategic Partnerships and Employer Relations position in the college’s Career and Professional Development Department.
In the college’s Advancement Department, Rose Norris is now serving as Donor Engagement Coordinator, with Claire Finlay also joining the college’s Finance Department as Student Billing Officer. Laura Matthys is now working as the college’s newest Library Donations Assistant in the St. John the Evangelist Library, with Zachary Wendt and Rob Groos working in the college’s Operations and Maintenance Department as Facilities Operations Maintenance Technicians. Finally, Kateri Criste is now serving as Operations Supervisor in the same department.
