College to Host 3rd Annual Alumni Games Weekend this April

Update: While all games will still be played during the annual Alumni Games Weekend, the weekend will no longer include the Athletic Alumni Reception at Shenandoah Golf Club. All tickets purchased for the reception have been refunded. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Christendom’s Athletics Department will host the college’s third annual Crusader Alumni Games weekend this coming April 1-2, 2023. The weekend, which will feature opportunities for competitions between alumni and current students in a variety of sports, is now open for registration.

The Crusader Alumni Games were first hosted in the spring of 2021, looking to expand the college’s annual alumni soccer games into a full weekend celebrating the college’s wide variety of varsity sports. Two years later, the event has continued to generate enormous interest, with alumni traveling from across the country for the weekend of competition and networking with current student-athletes.

The weekend will begin on Saturday, April 1, with an alumnae women vs. students soccer game on Crusader Fields, followed by an alumnae vs. students volleyball game in Crusader Gymnasium soon after. Alumni men will then take on current students in a soccer game in the afternoon on Crusader Fields, with an alumni vs. students rugby game closing the day. On Sunday, the weekend will close with an alumni vs. students baseball game at Bing Crosby Field.

Interested alumni are encouraged to contact the Athletics Department at athletics@christendom.edu as soon as possible to secure their spot, as space on the teams is limited.
