Christendom’s Athletics Department will host the college’s fourth annual Crusader Athletic Alumni weekend this coming April 5-7, 2024. This weekend will feature opportunities for competitions between alumni and current student-athletes in a variety of sports, in addition to a special networking reception for alumni and current students.
The Crusader Athletic Alumni weekend was held for the first time in 2021 to expand and build connections between Christendom alumni and current student-athletes. The event has been enormously successful in the past three years, with an increasing number of alumni traveling from across the country to participate in the competitions and network with current student-athletes.
The weekend will begin on Friday, April 5, with an alumnae women vs. students volleyball match in Crusader Gymnasium. The games will continue on Saturday, April 6, on Crusader Fields, with the men’s and women’s soccer teams taking on alumni in back-to-back matches. A final alumni vs. students rugby game will close the afternoon.
On Saturday evening, registered alumni and current student-athletes are invited to attend a Crusader Network Reception at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club. The weekend will conclude with an alumni vs. students baseball game at Bing Crosby Field on Sunday, April 7.
Interested alumni are encouraged to contact the Athletics Department at athletics@christendom.edu as soon as possible to secure their spot. All Christendom alumni and their family members are welcome at the games, but the reception is open to registered adults only.
