Christendom College’s Dr. John Cuddeback is featured in a new set of episodes of the popular Aquinas 101 series, created by the Thomistic Institute. In the videos, Cuddeback tackles the crucial topic of marriage, sharing his wisdom and insights from decades of studying and teaching on the works of St. Thomas Aquinas.
The first two episodes hosted by Cuddeback have already been released, with another two episodes expected in the coming month. In the first episode, Cuddeback tackles suffering in marriage, explaining that suffering is ultimately a great gift that lies at the center of the Catholic faith. In the second episode, Cuddeback shifts to communication in marriage, sharing wisdom from Aquinas and Aristotle and giving practical steps for improving communication in marital relationships.
The Thomistic Institute’s Aquinas 101 series seeks to answer the perennial questions in modern life, turning to the wisdom of St. Thomas Aquinas to bring his wisdom to viewers through short, engaging videos, hosted by Dominican friars and professors from leading colleges and universities.
Dr. John Cuddeback has taught at Christendom for nearly 30 years and is a frequent speaker at conferences nationwide. His writings have appeared in numerous academic journals and books, including his popular work, True Friendship. He writes for his website, LifeCraft, weekly, bringing ancient wisdom to modern readers, in addition to offering free courses and summer retreat opportunities. Cuddeback is also the host of “The Intentional Household,” a podcast that invites listeners to consider a radical renewal of homelife, focusing on such topics as crafting personal relationships, planting, prayer, and more.
