Christendom College’s Class of 2026 will present the college’s annual Mystery Dinner Theater on April 10–12. The student-written and directed production, titled “Humphries’s Travel Agency: Let Us Help You Plan Your Next Murder,” will begin at 7:00 p.m. each evening in the college’s St. Lawrence Commons in Front Royal, Virginia.
Written and directed by members of the Class of 2026, this year’s show promises a hilarious and engaging evening of entertainment and intrigue as audiences work alongside the cast to solve a murder. Set in a seemingly ordinary workplace where secrets abound, the show will invite attendees to solve the mystery as the story unfolds.
Mystery Dinner Theater is a fully interactive whodunnit, where audience members engage directly with characters, gather clues, and attempt to identify the murderer before the final reveal. Guests may “tip” characters during the performance to gain insights, and the first table to correctly solve the mystery will receive a cash prize.
In addition to the performance, Saturday and Sunday tickets include a full-course dinner, offering guests a complete dinner theater experience. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. on both nights, with the show beginning once guests are seated.
Last year’s Mystery Dinner Theater raised nearly $14,000 for the Senior Class Gift.
A special dress rehearsal performance will take place on Friday, April 10, at 7:00 p.m. This performance is offered at a reduced rate and does not include dinner.
Ticket pricing is $5 a person for the Friday dress rehearsal and $200 a table (each table seats eight) for the Saturday and Sunday performances. Full table purchases made in advance will receive priority reserved seating, while remaining seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door for $30 per person.
The event is open to the public, and all proceeds will support the Class of 2026’s Senior Class Gift.
