Christendom College’s Athletics Department has announced its 2026 fall sports schedule, with varsity competition beginning the weekend of August 28–29. Following another year of athletic and academic success across the varsity programs, the Christendom Crusaders are preparing for an exciting season of competition across the USCAA and National Collegiate Rugby.

The men’s soccer team, looking to capture their first ESAC title this year, opens its season at home on August 29 against Williamson, kicking off an extended homestand that stretches through much of September. The Crusaders will also host Hagerstown Community College on September 4, Patrick Henry College on September 9, Bucks County Community College on September 12, and Manor College on September 19 before welcoming Berkeley College on September 26. The home schedule continues into October with a Homecoming matchup against Central Penn on October 3 before the team’s final home contest against Penn State Greater Allegheny on October 14.

The women’s soccer team, aiming to build on a USCAA DII National Tournament appearance last season, begins their 2026 campaign on the road at Penn State Mont Alto on August 29 before making its home debut against Patrick Henry College on September 2. The Crusaders will face one of their toughest tests of the year when NCAA Division III Mary Baldwin visits Front Royal on September 15, followed by another challenging matchup against USCAA Division I opponent Salem University on September 19. The team will also host Central Penn during Homecoming Weekend on October 3 before closing out its home schedule against NCAA Division III Trinity Washington University on October 15.

Meanwhile, the women’s volleyball team opens its campaign at the USCAA Tip-Off Tournament at Penn State Beaver on August 28 before returning home for a season-opening tri-match on September 5 against Central Penn and Harrisburg Area Community College. Another key home tri-match follows on September 26, featuring USCAA Division I opponent Mid-Atlantic Christian University and Patrick Henry College. October home contests include Washington Adventist University on October 1, Penn State Mont Alto on October 7, and the regular-season home finale against Penn State York on October 13.

The men’s and women’s cross-country teams will travel throughout the Mid-Atlantic this fall, opening their season at the Father Bede Invitational hosted by Saint Francis University on September 5. They will next compete at the South Regional Preview hosted by the University of Lynchburg on September 19 before taking on the Richmond Invitational at the University of Richmond on October 2 and the Aubrey Shenk Invitational at Gettysburg College on October 17. Both teams will conclude their seasons at the USCAA National Championships on November 6 at Penn State Fayette.

The men’s rugby team, under the leadership of head coach Jim Conrad in his historic tenth season with the team, begins its season on September 5 with the annual Shield Match against Franciscan University of Steubenville before returning home to host Hampden-Sydney College on September 26. The Crusaders will then welcome the University of Richmond during Homecoming Weekend on October 3 before closing the fall with conference tournament competition beginning October 31 and concluding November 7.

These marquee matchups lead the way for full sports schedules for each team, with all fall seasons concluding by the end of October.
