Christendom College will welcome alumni back to campus for its annual Homecoming Weekend, October 2–4. The three-day celebration will bring together alumni and their families for reunions, family fun, varsity athletics, family activities, prayer, and opportunities to reconnect with classmates and the Christendom community. Registration is now open through September 25.
The weekend begins on Friday, October 2, with the college’s Community Holy Hour in Christ the King Chapel from 6:30–7:30 p.m., followed by the annual Alumni Basketball Game in Crusader Gymnasium. New this year, alumni can also attend Friday Class Parties that evening, hosted by individual classes off-campus, offering alumni an opportunity to reconnect in a relaxed setting before Saturday’s festivities.
On Saturday, October 3, the celebration moves outdoors with Alumni Family Fun Day from 11:30 a.m.–4:45 p.m. in front of Old Chapel Hall. Families can enjoy bounce houses, pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, games, ice cream, and grilled food at family-friendly prices, then head across the street to Crusader Field to cheer on the Christendom Crusaders in women’s soccer, men’s soccer, and rugby games throughout the afternoon.
Also making its debut this year is the Christendom Alumni Fall Market, running from 11:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. in Old Chapel Hall. The market will feature Christendom alumni who own and operate small businesses, including wineries, photographers, florists, artisans, and other vendors, providing alumni and guests with an opportunity to support fellow graduates while shopping for unique gifts and handcrafted goods.
That evening, the Classes of 1986, 1996, 2006, 2016, 2021, and 2025 will gather for special reunion receptions. Immediately afterward, alumni from every graduating class will be able to attend the annual Warren H. Carroll Alumni Reception, one of Homecoming Weekend’s signature traditions and an opportunity for generations of Christendom graduates to reconnect and celebrate together.
The weekend concludes on Sunday, October 4, with Mass in Christ the King Chapel, brunch in St. Lawrence Commons, and the annual East vs. West football game on Crusader Field, where students and alumni alike can cheer on their respective regions. Homecoming festivities will also include the Chester-Belloc Debate Society’s annual Charity Debate on Sunday evening.
