Prospective students applying to Christendom College for fall 2027 can now earn a $1,000 scholarship by completing their application by the College’s December 1 Early Action deadline.
“With high demand for Christendom’s liberal arts education and vibrant Catholic culture, applying Early Action gives students several important advantages,” says Director of Admissions Sam Phillips. “Students can earn an additional $1,000 scholarship, receive their admissions decision by Christmas, compete for a full-tuition scholarship, and potentially avoid a waitlist. Just as importantly, families have more time to understand their financial options, experience Christendom, and discern whether it is the right college for them.”
Christendom is fully recommended in The Newman Guide to Choosing a Catholic College, which praises the College’s distinctive Catholic identity.
“It would be difficult for Christendom to have a fuller Catholic identity,” says the Guide. “It does truly permeate the campus. You can see it, you can feel it on the campus.”
Students who complete their application and submit all supporting documents by December 1, 2026, and are accepted will automatically receive a one-time, nonrenewable $1,000 Early Action Scholarship for the 2027–28 academic year.
Early Action is free and nonbinding. Accepted applicants with qualifying scores will also be eligible to compete in the Padre Pio Full-Tuition Scholarship Competition on March 20, which awards full-tuition and additional scholarships.
“Applying early gives students more opportunities and families more time to make an informed decision,” says Phillips. “There is really no downside to getting your application in by December 1.”
Early Action applicants will receive an admissions decision by Christmas, allowing families to begin the financial aid process earlier and gain a clearer picture of their actual cost of attendance.
