Welcome to Christendom College!
I invite you to take a close look at the educational philosophy, curriculum, goals, and structure of Christendom College found on our website. Each of the members of our collegiate community is committed to offering you the finest Catholic liberal education possible. We invite you to enter fully into our traditional, liberal arts core curriculum, which will orient you within the Catholic intellectual tradition, introduce you to the primary disciplines of that tradition, and establish the foundation for a life of flourishing.
As ‘the Church at study,’ we seek to receive this tradition, cultivate it, and extend it through our own contributions. You, as a student, will have contributions to make as well. Our program of studies seeks to bear witness to the whole truth about God, man, and the created order. And through our studies in the classroom and the library, each of us seeks to answer Christ’s call to love God with ‘all our mind’ (Mark 12:30).
And know that here at Christendom, the love of learning, the love of life, and Catholic festivity go hand-in-hand with the desire for God. Our formation of the intellect takes place within a culture that forms and orients the whole person, proposing a path to true happiness in this life and blessedness in the next.
I personally invite you to join us in our common commitment to consecrate the intellect and will to Christ our Lord and King.
In the Heart of Christ,
