Education for a Lifetime

Preparing Students for a Lifetime of Faithful Leadership

At Christendom College, success is measured not simply by what our graduates know, but by who they become. Our mission is to restore all things in Christ by forming men and women who will transform their families, professions, parishes, and communities.

A Catholic liberal arts education forms students in truth, goodness, and beauty. Education for a Lifetime (EFL) equips them to put that formation into action through professional skills, practical experience, and intentional career preparation.

Beginning in freshman year, every student follows a structured four-year pathway that integrates career planning, leadership development, networking, financial literacy, internships, and individualized coaching. Whether called to graduate school, a profession, military service, religious life, or raising a faithful family, Christendom graduates leave prepared to lead with competence, confidence, integrity, and faith—bringing Christ to every corner of society.

There are four learning objectives for these two courses: CCOL 101 & CCOL 301

1. Students will understand how to translate Christendom College’s liberal arts education to the workplace

2. Students will be knowledgeable about the career planning process

3. Students will value the benefits gained through EFL

4. Students will acquire the tools they need to be successful  in the workforce
