B.A., Purdue University, 2006

What classes do you teach? 
Literature of Western Civilization (I-IV), Poetry and Poetics, Literary Criticism, Anglo-Saxon Literature, Middle English Literature, Chaucer, Introduction to Old English, Arthurian Literature

What is your favorite class to teach?
I enjoy them all, but I’ll always have a soft spot for the medieval literature courses.

Do you have any hobbies?
I regularly practice martial arts, mostly Tae Kwon Do and Ju Jitsu. I also enjoy hiking the Shenandoah National Park and following Notre Dame football.

What do you like most about Christendom? 
I’m most impressed by the College’s commitment to an authentic and comprehensive Catholic education, and the unity of students and faculty on this question.

What are your areas of expertise and/or research?
Medieval English literature, broadly considered, with a specialization in Old English language and literature.

Where have you been published?
I have been published in the Old English Newsletter and English Studies.
