How and When to Make a Financial Aid Application

How:

All applicants applying for financial aid must submit the CSS Profile. This application is used to determine a student’s eligibility for institutional grants and loans. The CSS Profile can be completed online at https://cssprofile.collegeboard.org/. Christendom College’s CSS Code is 5691.

Please note that Christendom does not use the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Students who are also residents of Virginia must complete a Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant Application to be considered for a Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant.

More detailed instructions can be found at Financial Aid Applications.

When:

Freshmen are notified of their institutional financial aid as soon as possible after they have been accepted into the College and all financial aid documents have been submitted. Continuing students are also awarded institutional financial aid for the upcoming academic year as soon as possible after all financial aid documents have been submitted.

  • March 15 is the priority application deadline for new students for the fall semester and April 15 is the priority application deadline for returning students for the fall semester.
  • December 15 is the priority application deadline for the spring semester.
