Christendom College will celebrate the accomplishments of the college’s 42nd graduating class May 14-16, 2021. The weekend of events, which will be held on Christendom’s Front Royal, Virginia, campus, are closed to registered guests and essential personnel.
A Note from College President Dr. Timothy O’Donnell
Pax Christi! Barring some very unexpected circumstance, we are holding our in-person graduation as scheduled from May 14-16, with the Baccalaureate Mass and a dinner for graduates and their parents on Friday, Commencement on Saturday, and Mass and brunch for those still in town on Sunday.
At this point, we know that students will be able to invite 2 guests, at the very least. We hope very much to be able to accommodate a larger number of attendees for graduation as we get closer to the date. Several things may impact this, including executive orders that may still be in place at the time of our event. In the next couple of weeks, you will receive a message designed to help the Operations and the Special Events office gather needed information for planning the events.
We have been part of a truly amazing year thus far, filled with God’s blessings and protection. Please keep our Commencement exercises in your prayers, and continue asking St. Joseph and Our Lady to intercede for us for a good finish to the College’s spring semester, a continuing trend of states and communities reopening and lifting restrictions, and for the health and safety of all associated with Christendom College, from students and families, to faculty and staff, to our generous friends and benefactors.
