celticInaugurated in 1992, the Christendom College Study Abroad Program offers three weeks of intensive study during which students/travelers achieve an integrated understanding of Catholic culture in the Catholic regions of Europe. As part of the program, two courses totaling six semester hours of college credit are offered. The program begins with one week of introductory orientation lectures on the Christendom College campus at Front Royal, followed by two weeks of travel and immersion in the European Catholic culture.

Two 3-credit courses: Irish History and Irish Literature
One week of study at Christendom College
15 days of travel in Ireland (including a trip to the Aran Islands)
Round-trip airfare from Washington, D.C.
All airport transfers, entrance fees and transportation (in D.C. and Ireland)
Full breakfast and dinner daily in Ireland
Full room and board while in the U.S. at Christendom College

To provide participants with the opportunity to study and travel abroad, enabling them to experience first-hand how the Faith can form a culture. Travels include visits to early celtic forts, monastic sites, castles and highland regions highlighting Ireland’s contribution to Western Civilization.

$3,474 Includes tuition, round trip airfare, hotel accommodations, transportation in Ireland, breakfast and dinner. A deposit of $300 is due by March 31, 2004.
