Former Administrative Director of Christendom’s Graduate School Luther Niehoff died on April 22 of brain cancer.
Luther was instrumental in the merger of the Notre Dame Institute and Christendom College, which created the Notre Dame Graduate School. He contributed greatly to its growth and development until 2006 when he retired.
“Lu was a great man who loved our Lord and his Church,” College President Dr. Timothy O’Donnell said. “He and his lovely wife Claire were a joy to have as part of our community. We will miss him and, with hearts full of gratitude, we will remember him and his family in our prayers.”
Eternal rest grant unto Luther Niehoff, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.
