spring-open-houseChristendom College’s admissions office will hold two open house events this spring: February 15 and April 25. These events are free of charge, and will give prospective students and their families the opportunity to attend classes, tour the campus, listen to presentations, and meet with the faculty, staff, and students.

“Christendom offers a challenging, authentic liberal arts education that helps students to strive for excellence and achieve greatness. To really understand this, though, you have to experience it for yourself, something that our open house program helps achieve,” says director of admissions Sam Phillips.

When students and their families arrive on campus, they will learn about Christendom’s unique educational experience, beginning with a welcome address from college president Dr. Timothy O’Donnell, and a presentation on the varied careers alumni find after graduation from vice president for enrollment Tom McFadden.

“Liberal arts graduates are some of the most sought-after by employers today, due to their abilities to write well, think creatively, and work well in a team environment. With these skills in hand, Christendom graduates find success in any vocational calling, no matter how complex, including law, business, medicine, education, and more,” says McFadden.

spring-open-house-2Students will have the chance to experience the high caliber of the college’s faculty by sitting in on classes and spending time conversing with them over lunch. While students are in class, parents will learn about Christendom’s robust financial aid offerings, as well as the importance of selecting a Catholic college for their children.

“We’re ranked as one of the best liberal arts colleges in the nation for our outstanding quality and affordability. College is a big consideration, and we want everyone to be as well informed as possible about what Christendom has to uniquely offer.  Coming to one of our open house events is a big step toward achieving that goal,” says Phillips.

Christendom’s open house events are consistently rated highly by participants, with slots filling up fast. Those interested in learning more or registering for one of the two events should contact the admissions office online at christendom.edu/openhouse.
