Christendom College took a technological step forward this past week, launching a completely redesigned website on Thursday, January 28. Featuring a fresh, elegant design and the latest in responsive technology, the website will help prospective and current students discover everything they wish to know about Christendom in an easy, accessible manner, whether they are on a desktop or mobile device.
“The new website will give visitors the full Christendom digital experience, whether they are looking for news, information on our majors and minors, or how to apply for financial aid. With a complete redesign, the site will address our visitors’ needs no matter what device they are using, giving them access to Christendom at home, on the road, and all across the globe,” says public relations specialist Zach Smith, who will be managing the website on a daily basis.
With the new design, the website will help visitors find information on all things Christendom at the touch of a button, thanks to an easy layout and robust navigational system. The site’s incorporation of responsive technology will give visitors this experience on smart phones as well, allowing for ease of use, in an optimal format, on any touch screen.
Christendom’s marketing office began building the new website last year, thanks to the numerous technological advances in website design that have appeared over the past few years. Director of marketing Niall O’Donnell developed the new design for the website, giving it a modern, elegant look while retaining the accessibility that was popular on Christendom’s previous website.
Over the past few months, O’Donnell, Smith, and two student workers invested countless hours into the website, improving every page and section to make it better for all visitors in the future.
