The Crusaders rugby team will travel to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to compete for a berth to the 2018 NSCRO 7s National Championship this weekend at the DIP Classic Rugby 7s Tournament. Held on April 14-15 at Franklin & Marshall College, the Crusaders will play against Franklin & Marshall, American University, and others in their pursuit of their second-straight trip to the National Championship.

The Crusaders are the reigning NSCRO 7s National Champions, and begin their hunt to defend the title this weekend. Ranked as the #1 overall seed, they will first play against Franklin & Marshall College at 9:40 a.m., followed by Kings College at 11:40 and American University at 1:40 p.m. A fourth game will be played on Saturday, with the time determined by seeding after pool play.

If the Crusaders make it through the opening round, they will play again on Sunday.

The Crusaders, who are currently ranked #14 in the nation, had a 5-3-1 record in their fall 15s season, including capturing the 2017 CCRC NSCRO Champions Cup.
