The field is set and tickets are now on sale for the 2018 NSCRO 7s National Championship in Philadelphia, June 1-3, where Christendom will be defending their 2017 National title.

The news was announced in a press release from the NSCRO today, where they gave glowing praise to Christendom.

The Crusaders after winning the 2017 National Championship in overtime.

“The field is led by reigning NSCRO 7s champions Christendom College,” says the press release. “In a thrilling final, Christendom College edged St. Mary’s College of Maryland 24-19 in overtime to capture the national championship at last year’s tournament in Chester. Christendom College is in Front Royal, Virginia and is the smallest school competing in NSCRO with less than 200 male students.”

Christendom is one of eight teams who will compete for the National Championship this year, and one of only two returning teams from the 2017 championship. The competition will be fierce, with teams from New Mexico Highlands University, Salve Regina University, Endicott College, California Maritime Academy, Claremont College, Susquehanna University, and Iowa Central Community College all looking to dethrone Christendom.
