Five Christendom Crusaders will compete with some of the best rugby players in the nation later this month in the inaugural NSCRO Men’s 15s All-Star Conference Championships, taking place in Austin, Texas, June 22-24.

Nicholas Santschi is one of the five Christendom players named to the All-Star team.

Thomas Audino, Vincent Duhig, Dominic Mann, Tim Marra, and Nicholas Santschi were named All-Stars by the NSCRO and will represent the Mid-South, one of four regions competing in the championship to decide what region in the U.S. fields the best rugby players. Three other Christendom players, Daniel Snyman, Richard Blank, and Paul Maschue, were also invited but are unable to attend.

Having eight players invited to compete as All-Stars is one more accomplishment for the Crusaders in 2017-18, after earning their first 15s rugby National Championship berth in the fall and making it all the way back to the semifinals of the 7s rugby National Championship in the spring.

The players will bring Christendom’s brand of rugby to the home of Major League Rugby team Austin Elite, and will also get the opportunity to meet the players and watch a Major League Rugby match.
