July 5, 2018

The awards keep rolling in for Christendom’s student-athletes this summer, with multiple Crusaders named to the NSCRO’s rugby All-American, All-Championship, and Rising Stars teams for the 2017-18 season.

(L to R) Dominic Mann, Vincent Duhig, Tim Marra, Thomas Audino, and Daniel Snyman.

Recent graduate Dominic Mann was named to the All-Americans team, along with 24 other players from the best NSCRO teams in the nation. Players were considered based on nominations and reports from NSCRO scouts at the playoffs and at the All-Star National Championship, both of which Mann competed in.

Sophomore Vincent Duhig and senior Tim Marra were named to the Rising Stars team, recognized for their emerging talents and for showing promise of ascending towards future NSCRO All-American recognition.

In addition, two Christendom players were named to the 7’s 2018 All-Championship team: recent graduate Daniel Snyman as a member of the team and junior Thomas Audino as an honorable mention.

Christendom’s rugby team recently reached the semifinals of the 2018 Collegiate Rugby National Championship for the second year in a row, after winning the title in 2017.
