The Christendom Crusaders scored their highest national ranking ever in the latest NSCRO Top 25 Coaches’ Poll, taking their place as the #6 rugby team in the United States.
The Crusaders placed as high as #14 in the NSCRO rankings this past spring, making this ranking that much more significant. Leapfrogging 8 spots is a testament to the Crusaders’ strong performance so far this season, including a tough opening stretch against 4 Division II teams to start the year.
The Crusaders, who are now ranked above Duke University, the College of William and Mary, and Vanderbilt University, are fresh off a 53-38 victory over Washington & Lee, putting them in prime position to earn a 15s National Championship berth with only one game left in the regular season.
