For the third straight year, the Christendom Crusaders will compete against the best rugby teams in the nation in the 2019 NSCRO 7s National Championship in Philadelphia. The Crusaders, ranked #2 in the United States, will play June 1-2 at Talen Energy Stadium in front of thousands of rugby fans, all for a chance at their second 7s National Championship.

This weekend marks the second National Championship for Christendom’s rugby team in 2019, after they came in 2nd at the NSCRO 15s National Championship in April. When they arrive in Philadelphia, they will start the weekend with pool play on Saturday, competing first against #30 University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at 9:20 a.m. Following that match, the Crusaders will play #15 University of Denver at noon, and then look to overcome #1 The Claremont Colleges at 2:00 p.m.

Depending on how they fare on Saturday, the Crusaders will either play inside Talen Energy Stadium on Sunday in the semifinal round at 8:00 a.m. or compete in the consolation round beginning at 11:20 a.m. If the Crusaders make it into the semifinals, their game(s) will be available to watch on ESPN+.
