Over the weekend, the men’s soccer team, rugby team, women’s volleyball team, and cross-country teams all travelled for away games, matches, and meets. Each team competed well and gave their all on the field and on the court.

The men’s soccer team played Penn State Brandywine on Friday evening. After a hard fight, they lost 5-0. On Saturday, the team took on the University of Valley Forge and won 3-1. This brings their team record to 3-4. The men’s soccer team’s next 4 games will be at home, and their next game is on Thursday, October 3rd at 4:30 pm against Washington-Adventist.

The women’s volleyball team competed in the CCBC Essex tournament over the weekend and played a total of 4 matches. On Saturday, the team played CCBC Beaver, and won each set of the match. They later played Harford, losing 3-0. On Sunday, the team took on CCBC Beaver again, winning 3-0, and later played Harcum, losing 3-0. This bring the team’s season record to 5-12. On Saturday, October 5th, the team will be travelling to Pennsylvania to compete against Penn State Fayette.

After an intense game, the rugby team fell to the University of Virginia, losing 33-35. The team’s next game will be an away game against Washington and Lee on Friday evening. The team will be playing at home again on Saturday, October 12th, when they take on Southern Virginia.

The men’s and women’s cross-country teams competed at Shenandoah University on Saturday. The women’s team finished in 14th place, and the men’s team finished in 17th place. Their next meet is on October 12th and Penn State Fayette.
